Rear brake and spoiler lights

This is a bit of a weird one. When i touch the pedal no lights come on, its only when i press the pedal quite hard do the brake lights & spoiler light come on. Its a bit worrying as i can be braking slightly and no rear lights will come on. Is this something to do with the brake fluid level???:S I've just had new front pads and backs are on 24k.

More likely adjustment of the brake light switch dude.

Check your brake sensor switch might just need turing so it sits correctly. (it twist 90degrees and comes out)
There no adjustmant so you need to either get a new one or put some tape on the head of it so it works.
