rear brake problem

  Titanium 182
so today i set about changing my front and rear discs and pads. got everything apart ok to find i have no spacers behind my old rear disc, so upon putting the new disc on it just rubbed the hub behind when i spun it. so i put the sold disc back on and fitted the new pads. took it out for a little test brakes were definatly an improvement but now sounds like a bearing has gone on the rear. is this the case or have i done something wrong?
