Rear Brake Set Up

Hi Guys,

I am looking to replace the rear discs and pads on my 172 cup, car will be used for a few hours a weekend but mostly track days. I have read the do only 20% of the car breaking so is there any point in upgrading or should I just stick with oem ?

Saw an ad on eBay for rear mintex discs and pads for £55 ( didn't specify a model ) would these be like butter or do you reckon they would match the oem set up ?

From what I've read on here . The mintex discs can be a problem . They have the wrong amount of teeth on the ABS ring . Better of sticking with oem discs and pads for the rear . Like i said in your other post , message adam @wolverhampton renault . He sells them on ebay too .

Wouldn't bother, stick with OEM and just upgrade the fronts!
