rear brakes seizing after 1 week

  R35 GTR
i have had brand new rear discs and pads fitted and I leave the car for a week of not being moved and the rear brakes have binded quite badly then i get a grinding sound for a few miles when braking.

Anyone else think this is not right? Or is it completely normal?

I would say nothing to worry about as this weather will get them stuck and when you get the grinding afterwards that will go once the pad and disc have bedded back in again.

Do you leave the handbrake on?

Mine are grinding almost overyday, it's the rust on the discs.

Mine does this too, even leaving the handbrake off! Its not as bad and after a mile or so its gone, just do a few heavy brakes and it'll be fine :)

Pretty normal. Car always needs a good shove to get moving once the handbrakes been on especially if its rained.
