Rear disc conversion - non sport

Was going to carry out the rear disc conversion on the dci today but a collegue of mine mentioned that the master cylinder may be different between discs and drums - this put me off trying if it wouldn't work.

Anybody done the conversion or know if it is possible before I waste my time and effort??

fine to do, i run a 172 setup off a 1.2 master no bother

just check the ABS rings match all round

Mine transferred over fine. Only issue is that I don't have ABS anymore due to the abs rings not matching although I've been advised that mk 1 discs and rings on the rear will sort the abs out.
