Rear disk conversion + first post

  LY 182
Hi, great forum ive just stumbled across here,, have a few questions for you if you dont mind.
I have a 04 plate 1.2 dynamique and would like to fit the rear disc setup from the likes of a 172 or similar (mainly for looks :( )
what exactly would i need for the conversion other than the obvious disks pads calipers etc etc, would i need a whole axle beam or is it like the fords where i can just fit the caliper bracket and be done with it?
also what sort of price should i expect for said parts from a breakers
cheers :)

you need the calipers disks hubs handbrake cables brake pipes and ABS sensors. a 172 beam will cost you £120 or so and its a straight swap for the one you have

hmm, so no way of fitting the caliper bracket to the standard axle then
thought as much
so im looking at 120 for an axle, hubs bearings and all the usual brake bits
cheers :D

yes you can fit the caliper to your axle - its just easier and usually cheaper to fit the whole axle from a 172 etc
