Rear end !

Seen some pics of Freds lowered clio.

Looks rude with the back end on its arse!

Any way im gonna get myself to Larkspeed and see if I can get some custom springs round bout 85mm-90mm drop but just for the rear. The problem with mine is that Ive lowered it 60mm all round on G-Max and the back end looks like an off roader where as the front scrapes speed bumps and everything. Anybody else tried or successfully done this? If so how much did it cost you and has it caused any probs with your car.

well his is sat on custom coilovers your standard dampers wont take a 90 mm drop

Yup they stuggle with a 60mm drop never mind a 90mm drop!

Yup only get that drop on a set of coilovers!

youll need coilovers or different dampers IF the standard ones will actually drop that low it will ride really badly. i would guess that a drop that big on standard rear dampers would leave the car sat on the bumpstops tbh as the damper body will be too tall for the drop.

they do drop that low, but they sit on the bump stops!!

i would avoid doing that TBH, unless you just want looks?

Im getting 2 rear setups off FK (one for Dansta and one for Yoz) because the rear of their cups are sitting high

ill let you know a price (itll have adjustable height on the rear)

Ive got some pics not uploaded em yet tho! I know wat ya mean bout the standard shocks and dampers my front shocks are constantly making a knocking sound over the tiny bumps so I prob going to have to replace those soon. AAAGH! this is gonna cost a fortune but I NEED a low back end cos it looks the DOGS PLUMS! somebody please help me!

I got the money for exhaust and im thinking bout changing the wheels

Just cant afford some dampers and the rear end is really p**sing me off! plus I need it colour coding but I really cant afford that.
