Rear Foglight Random Flashing On Clocks

Hello People,


I Recently Encountered A Weird Problem. My Rear Foglight Icon Flashes Everytime I Break Or Put The Hazard Lights On Or Indicate, I Am Not Sure What Caused This It Was Only Recently It Started Happening. I Have Had The Car For A Year So I Know Its Not Always Been There. Sometimes Its A Dim Flash Or Its Dimmed When Holding The Brakes. Also I Wonder If This Can Fail An M.O.T? Please Can Somebody Help Me As My M.O.T Is Not Far Away.

electrical cleaner on pins and push them closer together, i sorted mine out again yesterday

Mines doing this , cure is rewire the earth connection, solder the wire straight onto the holder bypassing the s**t connection and run it to the 10mm nut behind the lamp.

do you mean the ones on the back of rear lights. like clean the connectors etc? i dont know anything about electricals, well i know the basics like black = negative red = positive. only thing i know what to wire is led lights lol.

clean both parts of the connector and push the pins on the block in the tailight unit closer together, you will see what i mean when you take it apart
