im trying to remove the rear seats and the bolt turns a few times then stops and dont turn anymore,, is it ment to do this??

the bolt is the one whats in the boot 17mm

Sounds like you need to put more effort into it.

Spray it with some WD40 first.

There really rusted underneath on some cars, loads of wd40 and slacken, then tighten, slacken then tighten, slacken then tighten. You get the idea, every time you slacken it should come out a little more until its out. Get under car and wire brush and lube the threads if its one of the accessible bolts.

I had similar in my last car, but i didn't oil or attempt it slowly. I put all my effort in and the bolt sheered off! Silly mistake

The best advice! don't shear the bolt, you will end up with more problems than you started with, the above will work.
