Rear shock on 182 FF

My rear shock is gone on my 182FF.
Can I replace just the rears with different shocks e.g. Koni or do I have to replace shocks all round?
Should I keep the standard Renault shocks or can I improve the handling with other shocks?

Finally if I choose to change the springs to Eibach will this affect the ride quality or just the ride height?

get a coilover set, or renault standard shocks with some eibach springs, this would also improve the handling and it will be less pricey
