Rear Springs/Dampers ASAP !!!!!

Right taken one of my springs out to send away to get new ones made but i cant compress the standard spring enough to get it in for the time being, i want to leave the car on stands using the rear axel (only place i can realy use for stands) but what i want to know is it safe do sit the car on stands using the axel and dampers without springs ??????


need to know ASAP as need to catch a flight in like 2 hours lol !

I presume it will be harder to fit standard rear springs.Have you got any spring clamps or anyone to push down the rear beam?

Ive got springs clamps witch i used to get the old spring out (from coilovers) but i need to use two to compress the standard spring and so cant get it back into the seat so what i want to know is can i leave the weight of the car on a damper without a spring in it for a week while im away ??? or does it need to have a spring in the seat aswell so it dosnt do damage to the damper or rear beam ?

put 2 blocks of wood in there. i did that for half a week and was fine.

As said could you not pack out the area where the spring sits with something?
