Rear springs on 172 cup - same as non-cup?

As the title says, are they the same?

Looking to go back to standard as the Eibach springs are an issue when getting warrantee on OEM dampers ( whic lasted 5months and less than 5k)

No they are different. Cup spring have a little yellow and white sticker on the iirc

Any idea what the difference is apart from looks, i.e. spring rate and length?

Tbh no I don't. I can't imagine having non cup springs would make that much difference. I personally wouldnt put them in though as I'm a bit OCD.

Cups are 5mm give or take lower and 15% stiffer. That's what Renault press releases used to say.
