Rear Wiper Blank

First off. How hard is it to remove the rear wiper and motor without damaging anything.

Also, where is the best place to get a rear wiper blank? Any of the traders on here do them? What price am I looking at?

Cheers

Autocrash was doing really nice, professional quality blanks, colour coded to your car. Streamline carbon do CF ones as well I believe.

I believe the rear wiper is easy to remove, using a 13mm and 17mm spanner, putting the 17 between the nut and wiper arm, and the 13mm to move the nut, this should pull the arm off easily. 13mm Grommets can be had from halfords.

There may well be a guide for this. Aha, there is indeed.

What has been said above, removed mine in a few mins.

You will also need a 22mm socket for the main nut behind the plastic on the boot which holds the motor on to the boot lid (maybe just a phase 1 thing?!)

If you just want to fill the hole then a grommet from Halfords is £1.59 for a pack

Awesome, cheers chaps. Will get this done at the weekend. Don't really want anything fancy, just a flush plug would be fine so I'll look at the Halfrauds option.
