Rear wiper, Only cleaning flat.

This is a bit pointless but its annoying me, Bought a new rear wiper off a member on here last summer, Works fine but it doesnt clean the bit where it curves at the top?

So i get a half assed half moon and it annoys me !

Anyone else experienced this? Im going to buy another wiper.. But before i do, Could it be the spring or something?

The old one worked perfect but it was coming away from the mouting, Then i realised i chucked it away when i wanted it back.

lol, yea probly just the wiper that needs replacing, might be worth trying to see if you can get the new aerotype wiper blades (bocsh are best imo) as they work better on curved glass...

Yes mate ! exactly the same as mine.

The blade is brand new almost, It just doesnt seem to go over the curve.

I dont think you can get rear aero wipers. They have to be Valeo i think or after market copys.

s**t aint it??! I may have to invest in a new one as I think when my old chap changed it for me (I was away on holiday at the time) he used one that was longer and cut it to length (I can see the cut marks on the edge/side of the wiper).

I keep meaning to purcahse a new one but to be honest im just lazy

I got mine of a member who was selling lots of different stuff, I think it could be a copy of the valeo one therefore not a great copy.

I might go for one on ebay £5.49 and free postage. But this as well may be a cheap copy.

Any one know the code and price from Reanault?

Is there other Renault models that have shorter rear aerials that would fit the clio?

A normal rear blade & the plastic bit is £5.49 from Halfrauds. I had to get one the other week.

Front blades I always buy Bosch Super ones, from ebay. They are more money in Halfrauds. They are just normal blades, I hate flat ones on mk2's.

With regards to a roof aeriel, a modus one is horter, or folk on here fit one from a Mazda 3 I think it is. Some use Honda CTR ones, but they don't fit that well.

Mines the same. Put it on and walk round the back of the car. Top quarter misses the screen completely. Then look at just how curved the back window actually is. They seem far too stiff to bend over that radius of glass.

I turn mine on then get out and push the top in when it starts to move round then let go after a full wipe works a treat. other than that get one thats stiff and bend it to shape

Replaced my rear with a new one from halfords and it now wipes fully. Used to do what you mentioned above.

Only ever had 1 that fully wiped, the rest miss some but the one i've got on now only misses a tiny bit, not really bothered.
