I might start saving for a rebuild on my 172 engine wise. how much ruffle it cost for all the parts. and what parts would I need if some one could be kind enough to do me a list hehe.

How good are you in terms of spannering ? If your not compent don't attempt , no offence but you'll will properly make more of a mess as timing them isn't simple to most people as the engine is fully floating !

im not to bad but ill bet getting a garage to do it I might just start buying parts then get the garage to do the labour. plus after a guide price as don't wana get ripped off lol

What kind of rebuild are you talking about though? Head rebuild, block, both, high comp, forged etc.

Thread is too vague to help at the minute.
