Recaro Pole Position Subframes

I've got a set of Pole Positions on the way. Now, I've got side mounts... I just need the base mounts/subframe thingys.

I spoke to Capital Seating and theyve quoted £220 for 2 base mounts which seems quite steep to me.

Also concerned that the seating position will be too high as I want it a little bit lower than it is as standard.

Is there any others that'll fit or a cheaper way of doing it?

presumably 220 was for sliding subframes? I asked about subframes for the same seats in a 197 and was told about 80quid each.

I was dissapointed when I ordered subframes for my 182, I though i was getting the whole unit but no, I got 2 bits of metal to bolt the seat to the renault subframe, pricey isnt the word!

Yeh, sliding subframes which I'm guessin will be 2 bits of metal. Any other way if doing it?

iirc Colin G had some lower sub-frames fitted for his Pole positions, AR now has them in his V6.

ive got some evo6 recaros. loking for frames to go in the 182 and can only find a pair for £181. where are you lot finding them cheaper?

The good news about mine is the passenger side is rubbing the f**k out of my sill cover and both grab handles dont fit

who says recaro are good quality?
