Recaro seats were an option on the 172 Cup?

Just wondering. I bought a 53 reg 172 cup and it's got recaro seats in it like the trophy ones. Were these an optional extra from Renault? The guy I bought it off says they came with the car. Ltd edition?

Do they say Renault Sport on them?
They were an option on the 182 and standard on the Trophy only.

no just recaro. seemed a bit random to strip out abs, thin glass and no ac then put electric recaros in! the guy before him must've put em in. i do prefer em to normal cup seats, they put me off a cup. but cheaper servicing on a cup swayed me.

Very jealous! Trophys dont have electric.

They aren't from a Trophy as they are all cloth, and different pattern. Wonder what they are from, or if they are just bought by a previous owner.

There not renault recaro's, there out of anther car no idea what though, maybe a type R of some sort

they dont leave a lot of room for the back seat passengers. not that i ever have any. might just take the rear seats out.

expensive and a shite seat if you want a good hold (imo of course) as the recaros in my ep3, look nice but they just dont hold you well enough

got to say i agree with you on the hold, they're ok but not great. no way would i pay that money for them. best seats ive sat in are the recaros in my mates dc2 integra, was like a straight jacket! looked the same as these though. they're better than std cup interior though.
