Can RECARO seats be switched? I would like to swap my drivers and passenger seat around ?

Mine have the tilt handle fitted to both sides so can see no reason why they can't be switched around.

They have tilt handles on both sides and as far as I can tell the bolt holes underneath are identical

Are the seats symmetrical?

yes = you can swap them
no = you may have complications swapping them, whether it only has one tilt handle or whether for some reason the side mounts aren't symmetrical.

If they are standard 172/182 recaro's NO as the air bag will be on the wrong side of the seat.

If they are Recaro Trendlines as fitted to some 182 and Trophies then yes, they are a straight swap over.

they're just some recaros out of an Evo 6, no airbag.

Check the side bolsters on the base of the seat, in the accord recaros anyway one side is raised higher than the other. Could be the same for evo ones

Bolsters look identical too
