it will affect your warrenty YES - as you have changed the part - if they find that the said exhaust has caused any problems with other parts etc etc they wont pay out!

it only does if they can prove the exhaust has caused other problems!

it would void the warranty on that part. And anything related.

I.e. suspension would void suspension, joints, car rattles etc as the dealer is naturally going to want your money and not the crap labour % they get from renault uk.

We have a milltek with decat fitted to my dads 197 and it doesnt have a flat spot

Search it on Renaultsport, quite common!!! Especially if decatted

map doesnt completely remove the flat spot as the decat relieves too much back pressure. Nearly everyone fitting one has found this out. A remap will help, but not solve it.

They are not that quick below 2.5k anyway, so its a price worth paying i suppose but standard exhaust is very good anyway.
