recomend me a 10" sub please people!

Im after a small punchy sub for the boot of a clio sized hatch.
Im into loads of different types of music so i need a sub that can react quickly.
Not after blowing the boot apart just boosting the sound a bit.
I have a 2 channel amp already.

I like the one I've heard - JL Audio 10w3v2 - tight, still drops when you want it to, can take more than it's 300wrms rated power

Taylor might be able to offer better advice though - she's more up to speed on ICE than me, I've not been keeping up recently!

Arc Audio, I had a 10" (sub) and it was amazingly punchy. Try to avoid brands sold in halfords!

10" vibes are very punchy,so are alpines range, both recommended

Don't forget the box you put it in will make a big difference too - I paid EFMAX on TalkAudio for a box design and it's a million times better than the one it came in.

By the time you've paid for a design and the materials on top of the sub though you'll be over your £100 budget, easily, so I'd just stick with a standard box unless you can get a bargain

i'd go for something thats about 300wRMS is a small sealed box (0.65 cu.ft ish) and give it about 400wRMS:approve:

I have a JBL GTO 1002D.

250w RMS but it plays really well and has a good punch. Only needs 20 liters, so fits a small box.

jl audio all the way whether its a sub, components anything as a company they are anally retentive about quality sound, on a personal viewpoint i reckon 12" subs are way better.
