recommend a detailer in South Yorkshire

Hi recently got myself a black 172 which looks like it's seem a lot of car washes in it's time..

It's got quite a few swirl marks in the paint, so I'm looking for a recommendation for someone in the South Yorkshire area to have a go with it...

Where abouts are you based lad? I'm just south of Manchester and willing and able. Had a few lads from Huddersfield over recently. Failing that, maybe The Boosh aka Luke when he's back up north again.

OP take it to JD or get on DW and put up a thrad on there.

I think I may have found a local company called clean detail, I'll pay them a visit next week and see how I go on......

No problem. Keep us informed as to how you get on. It's good to get an idea of locations and opinions of these places. Make sure you look into them thoroughly chap.

Try and get pictures/reviews of their previous work. Just because they're a business doesn't always make them any good

Just had it cleaned at CLEAN DETAIL in Doncaster....and all I can say is superb.

When I got the car it was a fairly low mileage 172 which had been well serviced, but didn't look like it had had much in the way of polish/wax in it's life (lot's of car washes me thinks). There were large amounts of swirl marks on the paint and the headlight lenses were badly discoloured through the old UV...

So I dropped it off at Clean Detail Doncaster, they took me home, spent all day working on the car, polished all the swirl marks out, buffed all but the most severe of the marks out of the headlights, cleaned the inside of the car (they called it a quick inside clean, but it was way better than any interior valet that I've ever done) and came and picked me up to collect the car.

Now the car looks like new (apart from the wheels which I need to get refurbished)....they even gave me various valet products to keep the interior and wheels clean.

All for £150...
