This Morning I gave my Arctic 182 a Quick Wash and then used my Brother-In-Laws 100% Canuba Wax and it brought the Colour up nicely,

He then decided my Car had lots of Contamination so he got his Meg's Clay and Quick Detailer out and did 1/2 of the Bonnet and I was amazed at the results so really need to get my own so I can do the whole car,

Heard good things about P21, Any Help and Advice would be Great :D

Of the shelf you can't go wrong with the Meguiars kit.

Also for the money P21s is very nice, looks great on Blues just is not very durable. Fine if you have a good sealant under it though.

Well I've only ever just stuck with Meg's Nxt Gen Wash and Meg's Nxt Gen Tech Wax so whatever works with that, I've been happy with the Results

So if I buy P21 and the Meg's Clay Kit how do I go about using it?

Wash
Clay
Wax
Polish
???

Forgive me but I usually just Clean it not detail it

Wash
Clay
Polish
Sealant
Wax

Is the correct order.

Not a big fan of the NXT'S

I would

Wash - Duragloss Wash
Clay - Megs Clay
Polish - Autoglym Super Resin Polish
Sealant - Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection
Wax - P21s

On Arctic blue or any colour for that matter , you can't go wrong with Collinite 476 or 845 . More durable than most waxes :)

^ You definitely can! Get one bit of grit or something on the surface of the clay and wipe it over a panel and you will be having to polish away some serious cleacoat after to get rid. A more aggressive gray clay in the wrong hands could be a nightmare, if they didn't use enough lube (ooh!:rasp:) or keep using a clean face on the clay.

But as long as you aren't a r****d and are carefull as you go it should be fine.

I've Read that plenty of Quick Detailer and Constantly reworking the Clay is the best way, Making sure you keep the Clay moist, Is that right??

Clay - Sonus green with chem guys extreme sythentic QD.

Wax - Swissvax ONYX, chem guys petes 53, chem guys 50/50 or chem guys XXX carnuba.

Moist & warm ;) seriously it keeps it mallable so its easier to wotk with. Megs white clay is better than sonus green

I find keeping a mug of warm water with a little QD in it is good if you dip the clay in there each time before reworking it, so any bits of crud on the edges will come off before you push it into the clay.

But yeah as a lube I use warm water with shampoo and/or QD in it.

As said you can cause serious marring claying a car badly - people on here have posted picture to prove it.

As said as long as the clay is warm and soft and the surface had plenty of QD or soapy water on it you will be fine, don't use loads of pressure or use the clay again if you drop it. Make sure it always has a clean face.

What happened to the Meg#16 ? I bought some on your recommendation and now its gone :nono:

You can do damage with clay if you use too much pressure
