Re: Recommend me some nice I phone headphones (in ear)

Personally, I found the Bose tinny and cheap. Not worth the price at all.

I roll with Klipsch S4I, they block out all of the tube noise and sound terrific. And they're only about £50 on amazon, so buy something nice with the change.

I used to have Denon in-ears, clarity was incredible but lacking in bass/punch.

Re: Recommend me some nice I phone headphones (in ear)

I just had denon in ears, both sets broke, went dead in the right ear on one set, and randomly changing volume to the point of making me death on the other set. f**king annoying to say the least,

even though they were very good, but I would never get them again for those reasons

The bose look good, but if you say the kipsch have even more bass and clarity than the denons I think I could be sold for two sets.

You dont have a link do you

Heard only good things about the Klipsch S4i, I listened to a set of Bose (not sure what model) but they were good for acoustics not bass

Re: Recommend me some nice I phone headphones (in ear)

I have Sennheiser CX200 (I think) and they are awesome.

Re: Recommend me some nice I phone headphones (in ear)

Sennheiser IE8's. Think they might be slightly over budget though.

Sennheiser IE6's or IE7's, if not.

Don't fall for the Beats or Bose name trap. They're not worth the money, compared to Sennheiser, Shure, Klipsch etc.

I'd not touch Sennheiser, every pair I've owned has fell apart within 6 months.

No need for the big budget
IMO, these two punch well above their weight

Soundmagic e10's

Or

Klipsch s4

Anyone recommend some good cheaper ones? Don't see the point in making another thread.

I use a set of 'a-JAYS Four' when I can't be arsed wearing my big sennys.

Sound is decent for the price, have iPhone inline remote and a cool tangle-free ribbon cable. Look good in white and you can pick them up for £30 - £40.

I paid £45 about a year ago from Currys at heathrow so probably a bit over the odds.

I agree, I had a pair of HD-25's for many years, until my dad nicked them, and they're still going strong.

The IE8's I've got have lasted about 3 years, and they're fine too. Use them 3/4 times a week at the gym as well.

I use HD-25s too. Love them and build is pretty solid. They are heavily abused by me, left in my laptop backpack travelling offshore all the time.

Seriously, I thought I was unlucky with the first couple of sets and got them replaced but every pair fucked up. Same because the sound quality was superb, whilst they worked. Currently on some House of Marley - People Get Ready, had them since October hammered them everyday including snowboarding in them for a week or two and still good as new.

Beyerdynamic

DTX 101

Actually if you like bass, go further down the range, so dtx 71

I had a set of dtx 80's and they were excellent. Bit too much bass for me mind so I bought a pair of Hifiman RE 626 's which have very little bass what so ever. Have to turn my amp right up to full bass to get anything

Sennheisers for me...no idea what model but pretty decent for the money (think they were about £20)

I found the bass on these to be perfect :) anymore and it's as if you have a sub attached to your ear! (dtx101)

Dr Dre beats tour headphones have brilliant bass. BUT the cable tends to frey. Have sent mine bck 3 times now. Take about a mnth to get replacements (free). The advantage i guess is that their control talk thing is decent and like i said the music is top notch. £100 though.

+1 for sennheiser.

Mine were about £30 and are spot on. Cancel all background noise and the base is great.

Best earphones for the price I've ever had.

There's a reason all soundies use Sennheiser.

My mates got a pair od 101's but I didnt think they were any better than my 80's in terms of mids/highs. The 80's had more bass tho, the reason i sold them in the first place was due to so much bass.

Don't buy Bose or beats, both overpriced big name brands that are no better than cheaper alternatives.

And don't buy any balanced armature headphones if you want more bass, dynamic drivers are much better if you want big bass, but saying that, I'd take my BA triple fi's over most dynamic headphones just for pure quality

  S4, Tamora, Conti GT
All depends on budget. I bought some Atomic Floyd SuperDarts, and they are just incredible. Didn't realise you could get such a sound from in ears till I bought these. Expensive but well worth the money.

  A blue one.
There's a reason all soundies use Sennheiser.

Is that because they're the most gullible people on the planet?

There are seriously better options for around the same money as any of these "high street" brands.

Seriously has nobody tried the soundmagic e10's?

Or klipsch s4?!

I've never heard a decent sound from senheiser

Lol they're sub 60 quid, the OP obviously wants something decent cos he's looking to spend £150, and neither of those 2 are anything special

Just because they don't cost more doesn't mean they aren't incredible sound quality, have you heard either of them?

I was astonished at the quality of my Klipsch S4i's tbh. Blow me away every time I use them. Listening to songs and hearing it differently is a bit odd though, you hear things you didn't even notice before. As said i'm sure you could get even better for £150 but for the 60/70 quid of the s4i I wouldn't bother. Only gripe with them is they feel a bit cheap/plastiky but if you can get past that they're absolutely brilliant.

Look at the reviews for them, everyone raves about them.

These are more in your price bracket if you're feeling plush though.

lol just because something costs 3 times as much doesnt mean its 3 times as good...

I would go for the Klipsch s4i's too, and have plenty of pocket money for other stuff
