Bought my 172 almost a year back, recently joined here and decided to start playing around with it a bit. Going to take me a while because (as I'm sure you all know) it's not exactly cheap and easy. But there you go.
I've started off with simple stuff like PlastiDipping the front diamond (need to do the rear) and the door bullets.

As you can probably tell there are quite a few chips, scratches and tar specks that I need to address before I do anything serious. Finding the time hasn't been easy whilst working nights
Today I debadged the rear, I plan on doing the 'Clio' badge at some point when I have the new style RenaultSport badge to hand.

I've also PlastiDipped the interior trim which was largely pointless as I plan on colour matching that to the exterior with proper paint, sanding, primer, lacquer and elbow grease.

That's all for the moment. Deciding whether to fill the holes left by the Clio badge at the moment and put touch up paint over or just the put the RS badge on?
Anyway, plans for the car are:
Lowering 50-100mm
Refurb alloys and paint black
Paint rear diamond and colour match boot release button
Colour match interior trim
Custom make a fibreglass iPod dock
New lockwood dials
Change LEDs behind dials (if I can summon the courage)
Retrimmed steering wheel
Uprated speakers
...and possibly something very chavvy and put LEDs/neons in the footwells that turn on when the door opens. Unfortunately that's all for the future.
