refurbing cup turini's ... are they alloy ? or magnesium ?

Hi everyone

I have recently bought a set of speedline turini's off a cup , they are in serious need of a refurb :S

I have heard that you can get the turini's made from magnesium and alloy ? am i right in thinking these will be made from alloy ??

also one of the wheels has been kerbed quiet badley all the way round the rim and has worn down a bit right on the edge , as this is the edge the tyre will be pulled over i didnt fancy putting any filler on it incase it cracks when having the tyre fitted .. any ideas onhow i could build this up ? or should i just smoth is off evenly ?

yep theyre flowformed alloy ..... only competition wheels available in magnesium

I would get it built up with welding then lathe it down

IIRC, only 17" and bigger a flow formed to reduce weight, not the 16"s and smaller were not
