Refurbished Turinis

  172 & RSi
Just got a few pictures of my refurbished Turini's, camera battery had died so these are from my phone, need to get some better ones soon.

Had them done at the wheel specialist in Manchester, in the brightest silver they did. They did an ace job and the wheels look 10000x better now, got new tyres fitted too so more or less like having a brand new set of wheels.

Its on FK's, lowest they'll go on the rear, and the front lowered as much as is practical really. Theres no rubbing whatsoever now, took a bit of messing to get it perfect, but worth it, just need it professionaly setting up.

Yeah they were anthracite before and got fed up of them, these stand out miles more now, a pic for anyone who didn't see them before...

Its all about anthracite imo, but still looks tidy

Nah, anthracite looked dull and boring imo, plus they are overdone. These are high power silver, stand out a million times more in the flesh, pics don't do them justice tbh. Need to get along to the next meet and let someone with a fancy camera take some for me lol.

Yeah man!!!

Silver is a massive improvement on the amphasite. Good work mate.

Not sure if I like the new style renault sport badges, undecided whether to get a set for me.

As for wheels both look as good as one another imo.

Thats looks 10x better than the anthracite, if it wasnt lowered id of said the anthracite would look better, crazy how colour can make that much of a difference!

Go for it, look so much better imo, makes the old badge look dated.

I know mate, tell me about it. Wasn't sure wether to stick with anthra or go for silver originally, so glad I went for the silver now though..

I need mine doing, can I ask how much the place charged and do you have a link to their site? I'm sick of my 'amphasite' rims now.

Wheels were done at The Wheel Specialist in Manchester.

Drive in and out in the same day, about £250 all-in, was about £215 but went for hi power silver in the end.

Thats with 25% discount that they had on in January though.

Definately need to sort a better location, just always seem to be working and its nearly dark by the time I get back. Will come along to the next NW meet and get some there though :)

Worth it though imo, thats drive in drive out, I didn't have to do anything at all. They strip the tyres off, take the alloys back to bare metal, powdercoat them, bake them in an oven, refit tyres and fit them back to the car.

Get a few quotes on their site, I've done it a few times in the past and they've always rang or emailed offering me discounts.

Decided to go for it in the end and would recommend to anyone as they are like brand new now, whereas when they were painted previously, the finish was crap and the paint flaked off around the wheel nuts etc.

Keep the comments comin..

Thanks for the info. Too strong for my money just now, but does look a cracking job. Glad you're happy with the results too.
