Considering I said I'd send the PM on the Tuesday and then Don sent it instead I think it was fair for me to assume he was the one arranging this months.
Consequently I began to plan something a bit different next month.
I'll find a location for this months in the morning.
The weather should be brilliant tomorrow so who about Bridgnorth again, as has already been said it's a lovely drive there especially in the sun but also there are a few nice pubs to sit outside in the good weather.
Can call tomorrow and book ahead as they'll no doubt be busy

Matt I have been organising meets for the West Mids for 7 years and not once been moaned about messing up meets. The monthly meets were something I set up which you took over and you still can't get it right.
As you know, I can change the Calendar to match the event, but let me know in advance...otherwise it won't reflect what is going on which is frustrating for me and the others in the Area.
It's a bit s**t when members are advising you of the date for the next monthly meet...

The only person that really moans about me messing it up is @MartinR who doesn't come anyway lol. :rasp:
I really don't feel like the **** ups call for any b**chiness between Area reps and the need for one-upmanship. I admitted a couple pages back that I'd c**ked up but I also suggested a new date and said I'd PM people on the Tuesday. it seemed that you then decided to take the lead with this one so I left it to you. I think that was a fair assumption as you PM'd the list of members.
I'd planned (as the weather was good) to suggest a good long drive out and do a chip run and that was my plan for this month, unfortunately working 80hrs a week means that ClioSport has had to be put on the back burner for the last few months.
I'm sure you understand CS being put on the backburner due to other aspects of life as you are unable to attend more recent montly meets/rr days. It's one of those things, unfortunately paid work has to come before leisure.
If you have a loaction for this evening that you could suggest then please go ahead. I don't know Bridgnorth that well but thought it'd be a nice drive. No doubt it is too late notice for some members but I know a few have confirmed to me via other methods of contact that they will be in attendance regardless.
If you would like to pass the are rep status on to another member then that's up to the members. While I can see the summer being quieter at work and me having some more spare time I can't make any guarantees or promises.

If you can remember the name of the pub from last time I'd be happy returning there, was a nice enough pub, I can call them shortly.
edit: The Bandon arms, any objection to us returning there or does anyone know of a better pub in Bridgnorth??
