Hi all im new to the forum so apologies if im going over old ground. Ive trawled the forums for some hours now but cant seem to find what im looking for. Can anyone help with a picture or sketch showing all the relay locations and what circuit they control, i currently have a 2003 clio 1.5dci that has gave problems from the day i purchased it.I read a lot of problems with the UCH is this the panel under dash passenger side?
To date i have experienced the following problems.
1. airbag light on dash perm. on. - cut off connector under drivers seat and soldered wires together problem fixed by myself.
2. replaced alternator pulley as it was chewing fan belt and not charging, fixed by local independant garage
3. strong diesel smell in cabin traced to leak in way of sender unit, o-ring seal and locking ring replaced problem fixed by myself.
4. 12 month history of poor starting from cold will crank for ages before firing, TDC sensor replaced by local garage no improvement,
tried another recommended garage done diagnostic which threw up about 9 codes but because we did not know history of car he cleared the faults and told me to return 2 days later to redo diagnostic which now read one code..., fuel pressure rail problem, which he replaced with new renault part, problem still exists tho have endured it due to finances until now with the cold weather it has been cranked so much that it run down the battery.
Had another diagnostic done today and only one code present ... coolant fan relay no.2.(Dont think this would prevent starting but needs sorted) Hence i need to know its location but im experiencing other electrical issues that need relays investigated
A Central locking switching on and off itself while driving along (changed switch in centre dash its not swiching on/off as much now but the switch wont lock the doors from the inside although the key function operates ok)
B Pre heat indication on the dash not working even on self test although preheat system/plugs working normally.
