relocation pipe

i got a 1.2 16v mk2 ph2 and thw ktr relocation pipe looks like its enjoyable can u fit other induction kits on it or is it a hassle and is that induction kit any good or not? cheers chaps!

apparently its not bad, never had one myself tho. seems expensive to me tho for what you get. but if you've got a new 1.2 with the new inlet its pretty much the only one available.

This was a Ktec ramcharger kit, the filter and heat shield was taken off and replaced with a pipercross IK filter. This was added on to the alloy pipe with a cut down silicon hose from the Pipercross kit and attached with jubalee(sp??) clips. Just saying that I reckon the same could be done with the relocator kit.

Yes you can add pretty much any filter to the end of the reloaction pipe.

Basicly its just a pipe made to fit your car.

I used to have one before my viper, and yes it made a diff.
Air flow was much cooler behind the front grille.

engine revs more freely and pulls slightly harder, sounds good too

hmm thats weird, made a difference on mine, did you have a pannel filter before?

what was your engine like compaired to others? mine seems to be a good one! maby that could be why?

Dunno i did an 18.0??s 1/4mile so it wasn't too slow, 2 up i was pulling away from R3OBC. And he's a dwarf! (Sorry rob)

TBH I think your right. I must say that look at the pic again and see if there are any better places. My little Clio has f-all room in the engine bay. It's only a 1.4 16v but don't think the aircon helps!

I got one of them 2, didnt feel more pull but shounds abit better than standard, got a KandN fitted to it but the little bit that holds the relocation pipe to the engine block has snapped
