Remapping

I am thinking of remapping my Clio sport 182, in 2nd put my foot down seems sluggish feeling a slight flat spot just before you hit 5000 rpm and it the power hits you quite abruptly sometimes catching me out. all other gears seem smooth as tho!. Does anybody know of a good place to get a remap? i live in Cheshire so dont want to have to travel to far, any help would be obleiged. thanks

I've heard that having a decat can give a flat spot, but I'm not sure what revs this occurs at.

As for where to get it mapped, I couldn't help you on that one. But I'm sure there is a specialist around there somewhere.

Between 2nd & 3rd ull have your flatspot

You mean around 2k and 3k revs? That seems more likely.
