Just been to put a deposit down on a new car (woop!) and the remote central locking wasnt working (I have obviously asked the guy to have it sorted when I go back and collect it) but is this a common fault?

Most common faults in order .....
1 - key has lost its code
2 - contact switch on key circuit board has come loose and needs soldering
3 - ignition barrell transponder need replacing
4 - key is completey dud and needs replacing
5 - UCH / Fuse box needs replacing
6 - ECU needs replacing

New to me, its an 02 plate with very low mileage on it!
I am picking it up tomorrow, and the guy says he has sorted the central locking and a couple of other bits and bobs too. What would it cost to have a new key and setting up done by renault?
