Remote Key Fob Dilemma!

[Duracell]

Dropped one of the remote keys earlier to my 172 (03) plate.

Chipped a piece of the plastic off of the housing near the blade.

The electronic piece inside and the blade are both fine.

Can I just purchase another key from Renault ? And put my electric part back in and slide the blade back in my new fob ?

How much is just the housing for the key fob btw

Any replies greatly appreciated.

Dont buy another from Renault, they are very expensive, by some off ebay and swap the insides over and throw the rest in the bin. What I did.

eBay for sure, save yourself loads of cash

yeah, all you need is a key housing. so you could just buy any from ebay, as long as it's from a 2001-2006 car
