Any clifford system wont let you start unless In Neutral

I had one on my car caused a few probs. Couldnt be bothered to refit it.

Is good for the Comedy value though! But not really worth the money! For instance a Clifford Concept 300 is Cat 1 approved with Intellisatrt it isnt!

iv got it on my clifford alarm, good fun, especially for scaring old bids and kids! Also good for cold mornings, just start the car whilst eating breakfast, then by the time u go out its nice and warm inside and the engines warmed up as well!

its impossible to leave the car in gear, as you have to lock and arm the car with the engine running, which then turns the engine off. you can then turn the engine on and off as you please.

if the door is opened at anytime then the remote start feature wont work! (as its possible it could be put in gear) Maybe some of the cheaper brands work differently, but you defo cant be in gear when it starts!

Just to add the Intellistart in not Thatcham approved.

I believe its something stupid like an extar £250!!!

Not worth it considering everyone has a spare key, simply start it up and lock the doors wiht the other key, or the fob.

Its great where i live, in the sticks, i can just leave the car unlocked, running outside the house in the mornings, no fear!

I know you can upgrade various alarms with features such as this.

Is the Cup / 172 alarm good enough to link a remote start up to???
