Removal of acoustic valve - quick question..

There's like an air hose going up to the inlet manifold, should I block it or leave it open?

was a long time ago but im pretty sure there was a little filter on it which I left on or took off valve onto remaining tube, something along those lines

its not an accoustic valve,

its the feul purge system,
it vents fumes from the petrol tank into the inlet manifold,

i just cut the pipe in half, folded it over and taped it.

Yeah block the pipe with an m6 bolt or similar and tape it, then secure it out the way with cable ties.
