Removal of silver strips above glove box in mk 2

Does anyone know how to remove the silver plastic strips which sit above the glove box on a mk 2 as i want to re-spray them, thankx.

Just use a flat headed screwdriver and prise them off.

Are they held on by clips? Once off do they go back on easily? thanx

Yep just a couple of clips, easy to come off and go back on, just make sure you do it gently.

myn were really scratched and i did myn....dead easy to come off and go on like ^^ said good luck

i jus pulled and they came off pretty easy tonyt's doing mine in carbon atm cant wait to get them back!

yeh as above didnt even need a screw driver just pull them off carefully.
