Remove Rear Seats

Hi guys
Just wanted some inspiration/ideas with removing rear seats in my 182.
It has the Trophy Recaros at front and want to just remove the rear bench completely.
However it is my daily driver and only attend the odd track day.
Has anyone done this and covered the back with carpet/mats etc? I don't want to just leave it empty. Would be fine if it was purely a track car but I would almost like a false floor kind of thing to cover the whole of the back?
Anybody done this? Is it possible? Looking for inspiration!

Commonly done. You can get a boot carpet that covers the whole area.

Not cheap, but they come up 2nd hand now and again.

I haven't had any back seats in mine for years mainly due to owning a German Shepherd,
i've lined the back of mine with a big hevey duty non slip rubber mat, it's as wide as the car and is nearly long enough to reach the tail gate,
I haven't cut mine to fit the contours of the car but it could be easily done.
