Remove the 17s?

My ph2 has 17s on they are Oz superturismo I'm not sure if they are lightweight but wondering if I'm better swapping to oem 16s or something? - it feels ok but maybe 16s are better for turn in etc etc?

The car will mainly be used on a track but road driven too.

Swap to 15" bud. I've read what your plans are so 15" are better for your need.

Plus tyres (fast road and track) are cheaper.

Does it not look like a tractor on 17" wheels? I've always swapped to 15" wheels on these due to cheaper track tyre cost, dread to think the price difference between these and 17" tyres, also doubt you'll be able to lower much on 17" wheels so if your tracking you'll want smaller and get it on lowering springs or coilovers [emoji106]

Still a few quid between em per tyre

I can guarantee that if you look at a lot of fast road and track clios, 99% of them will be on 15's.

It was a direct comparison with diameter being the only variable, admittedly at a slight tangent to your point regarding 15`s.

For track and budget, 15"s all day long

There's a guy with 18"s on a 197 who frequently does oulton. Here's me thinking 17" tyres were expensive enough lol

Stock wheels were 16" and I thought they was 195/45/16 on 172s and 205/45/16 on 182s.

Ph1s had 195/50/15. This is the preferred tyre size for people putting 15" wheels on.
