Removing aircon control panel

Any idea how to do this, did a search for a guide and couldnt find one?

Its a nightmare, you virtually have to remove the whole dash.

No ya don't mate, pull out the plastis cover under the panel. Unscrew the 2 bolts below the head unit and push the panel backwards and it comes out.

What model 172?
On my ph1 I managed to get it out without taking the dash off

Take the gearstick surround thingy off, undo the two screws that hold the pannel on, push the seat back and lie upside down in the passenger foot well, disconnect everything, ease it out the bottom.

Same here, its a bit (or very) tight but it'll come out easily enough with some manuvering.
