removing Bird Cr*p

  Honda & VW
Went to wash my girlfriends RB182 a moment ago after noticing it had a massive load of bird crap on the bonnet, i washed it off and it's now left a mark.
Looks like it's marked the laquer, it's now got a slight orange peal feel to it.

Anyone reckon this could come out, if so whats best to use?

cheers

You can try using Megs scratchX to see if it'll shift it, but you're probably going to need it machine polished mate. As said, it marks the clearcoat so will need it polishing back.

bird poo has acid in so eats the polish but if you get some kitchen roll and soak in hot water then place it on top for a minute or to it should then wipe of leaving no marks :approve: doesnt work all the time

If it has etched in you will need to polish the marks away as said.

Renault paint is shite for this, seems to etch on contact.

I had to paint the roof of a clio once cos a bird crapped on it in Weston-super-mare and in the 40 odd minutes it took me to get home, it had eaten through the paint beyond repair.

the bird cr*p has already been removed, my problem is how to remove the stain left by it.

Working by hand Meguiars Scratch X, Carlack Polishing Paste or even some Autoglym Paint Renovator and use with care.

By macine any decent polish should sort it.
