Removing Electric Sunroof Clio 16v

Can you remove the electric sunroof from a 1995 clio 16v as the motor in mine has broken and is leaking in water threw the sunroof.

if so can you give me an idea on what & how to do it.

I can't see how you can get the sunroof open without the motor working, but if it's broken...

You could fit the manual handle from a lower spec clio but you can't fit a manual 16v sunroof as they are smaller.

its relatively easy to change if you have a new motor, and you will need a new switch if its been leaking, mine did.
where are you based, i would be more than happy to come round and give you guys a hand sorting this out.

Do you mean take the sunroof out completely?

Daz Orz has done it on his valver think you'll need to fit some cross bracings within the opening, weld panels over the opening, smooth off paint externally then source a willy 1 or 2 roof lining for the inside as they didn't come with sunroofs as standard
