Removing elf sticker

This is more a post attempt question.

Tried removing the elf sticker in my daily. (Like I do with all my clios). But the sticker came off and left an unsightly adhesive residue on the glass. Atm I have tried wd40, White spirits, rough side of a sponge and coke. Any recomendations to get the glass clean and shiny?

Never happened to me before and I've already spent 20 mins clearing a cm2 with a toothpick.

hand sanitizer gel is epic on sticker residue

Soak a bit of kitchen roll in something like tardis and leave it over the residue for a few mins, then rub it off

I used industrial grade iso-proply-alcohol and that worked fine. I replaced my elf sticker with a cut one I had made up so it doesn't havbe that nasty clear backing thing, just the white of the lettering and looks miles better.

Why are you removing this sticker ? its the only sticker you should have in the back window along with a ClioSport sticker of course
