Removing metal spigot rings

Have just bought some spacers that currently have metal spigot rings attached and they don't look like they will come off easily, any tips or hints before I start?

Should have tried first before posting :smile: they weren't that bad used a screwdriver to get it started and then a metal ruler of all things as didn't want to damage them :up:

Bit of a pig to remove but as @imprezaworks says, easiest way.

I bought them second hand so they came with them on, I have to admit when I have used spigot rings before they have always been plastic, first time I have seen metal ones although they are roughly 6mm thick so maybe to thick for plastic?

I am running Oz F1's still, I keep looking at wheels and love 2118's but not sure with them on Ph1's. Not sure what wheels the spacers were used with before I bought them

No the metal rings were on the spacers that arrived today, oz's are standard ones so no metal rings needed :up:

Metal rings on the spacers? I'm referring to metal spigot rings inside the wheel.

No I think I am confusing things :smile:

The metal spigot rings came stuck on the spacers that I bought but they would have gone inside the wheels that they were previously used with. I don't need them for use with the Oz F1's so I needed to take them off before I could get them fitted to the car, hopefully that clears everything up :up:

Yep they were, they didn't seem to be rusty and stuck on, not at all in fact, just obviously a great fit

OZ alloys come with metal spigots as part of the fitting kit
