removing startard tweeters without removing dash

is it possible?

i know the front and tweeter cable is joined, is there a way i can remove the door cards and not the dash to discount them?

the little covers over the tweeters on the dash should twist out so you can get to the tweeter

i tried that and i can see a green plug, but not sure if thats what i need to disconnect!!!

just hope i don't want to add them back again after LOL

I had to take the top of the dash off. It's not too difficult and will save time in the long run.

think it might be possible to disconnect them by just removing the grill but i took my dash top off since i was hiding crossovers lol

Take dash off, its easy mate. You'll only drop something in there anyway.

this is for a mk2 ph1, the only different to the older clio is the coloured strips need pulling off , to reveal some screws.

ive taken my dash off and not had any airbag probs matey

I removed my dash this week:

first switch airbag off

pull all the door seal off, remove A pillar covers and unclip the alarm sensors from the brackets.

remove cover behind steering wheel, pops off, same for the silver strips.

There are 3 screws behind the passenger strip, one behind drivers and 2 under that plastic cover.

3 screw in the air vents by window, use reflection in window to see where they are.

2 plastic ones either side of dash on side.

Then grab dash and pull!!!!

if you accidentally short out a connection on it, it can do some damage i am sure.lol.

yep, was confident with the job though, only had to plug in a couple of wires.
