Removing steering wheel insert ...

Greets,

How do you remove the steering wheel insert, got a custom sprayed one coming shortly and am having trouble getting the old one off.

I have read that it's a case of prising it out with a screwdriver (searched) but just wanted this confirmed please.

Yes it is, Easy if you remove the Air bag, But i managed it without.... Uased a Tea Spoon rather than a Screw Driver as it was not as sharp.

Best way is to prise it up from the bottom then slide it out and down.

Yeah just push the top up and under the Air Bag, And push down.
