Removing The Acoustic Valve

On a MK2 PH2. Can someone get some photos pplz where it IS or USED to be. not sure how to remove it . or where it is. might be on the right hand side down near the front fog. but i dont have a clue.

Why dont you go to Hillpower and get them to sort it for you, ie fit their excellent induction kit, I believe the £47 fitting charge includes removing said acoustic valve and optimising the whole shebang.

Its a 172 and 182 Phase 2 2etc thingie not on the 1.2

I asked because, when i floor the car at low revs, the induction kit sonds good, but at 3.5-6k you can hear anything cept the shitty rat running round it's wheel under my bonnet. im sure read somehitng somewhere about it.
