Removing the dash in a 182

Quick question (I know its already been done and tested etc etc but I can only find a guide for the 172)

I just want to know when I take the dash off will the passenger airbag be effected as it looks like this is part of the upper dash? Is there anything special that I need to do in order to get the dash off in a 182 opposed to a 172? Thanks

Dash the same as 172MK2s.

just turn the passenger airbag off on the passenger door panel before removing the dash.

i removed my dash board on my 182 cup tonight to route my laser detector ,piece of cake and did not turn off air bag...

As mentioned theres no attatchment to the dash top tothe airbag.

Just be carefull when you are banging around tho.... but in all honesty you will be fine.

You can disable it as mentioned using your key on the passanger side.

Just also remember to be carefull with screws that you take out as they have a habit of dropping down the air vents :O
