Removing the front and rear speakers

  1.2 16v
Bought a couple of pairs of 13cm jbls to replace the front and rear door speakers on my mk2 clio. Anyway problem is im having trouble removing the factory fitted speakers, in particular the screws theyre held on with! They look kind of like they need an allen key to unscrew them but ive tried several sizes with no luck! Please could anyone enlighten me!!

i would replace the rears with your new ones but up front they have half decent components in as standard, you may be better off sticking to the originals unless you get components.

You need a 'torx' screwdriver. Most places should have them, i know maplin do. They sell sets so just find a set with a T20 attachment in.

If i replace the front factory fitted speakers in the door with some 13cm jbl coaxials using the standard wiring already in the door, will the standard tweeters in the dash still work?
