A wee problem to share.

A girl at my work has a 1.2 clio. The problem that she has is that the comon problem of the back brakes binding on. Well, the motor is now lying in a bus lane with it brakes stuck on and the hand brake itself as slack as a whoores chuff.

We phoned local dealer, who checked the system and said that the car is 5 days out of warranty, and they wont help at all. Renault UK is closed today. Any ideas?

has it been reported to renault before? if it was a problem that renault were aware of before the warranty ran out then they should fix it if not im afraid she is stuffed

08000 723372 CUSTOMER SERVICES - They do a thing called "goodwill" were depending on how old the car is and how many miles its done, they will contribute a percentage of the costs towards repair - if its 5 days over warranty the usual contribution is 95%, which is nearly the full bill. Make sure she mentions this to the dealer and RUK.
