"Cyl #2 fuel rate" and shows it as a fault, however none of the warning lights shows anything wrong. The engine (1.6 16v k4m) does have a slight misfire but only at idle and without using the a/c, using the a/c solves the problem (maybe because the idle goes up a bit to about 850rpm instead of the usual 750-800). The idle is not perfect as it was a few weeks ago and you can hear the exhaust popping and making irregular noises.
We tried swapping the brand new ignition coils and the diagnotic tool still said there is a fault at the #2 cyl...Renault official procedures goes like this:
*Check valve clearances
*Test compression
*Test fuel injector
*Test ignition coils (new, about 1000 miles old)
*Check spark plugs (new, about 1000 miles old)
*Check/replace fuel filter
Engine has a bit over 30k miles, does not use any oil and does not make any unusual noises so I will not check valve clearances or compression as I believe it is a fuel system fault. Will try swapping injectors #2 and #3 to see if the problem goes to the other cylinder... Is cyl #1 cambelt side or gearbox side?
Will try to get a video :S
Any other ideas?
