A small blade should do it mate (be carefull obveisly)!

just tryed sccisors but mangaged to cut my self twice and still not open

It slides apart, do not prize apart, look down the side edge for a clue.

I couldn't work out how to open the key when I had mine lol, so I just used the spare key instead.
